Games
Referees are always needed. All games U08 and above require a certified AYSO referee. We also strive for referees to also become assistant referees (linesman) at U10 games and above.
New Volunteer?
We continue to strive to have as many interested volunteers to become Referees. Our youth players need to have certified referees at all of our games. We require that all U08 games and above have a AYSO certified referee.
Are you a parent that can't offer time as a coach due to work schedules but want to give back ? If you can offer at least 1 hour of your time on game days, we can accommodate you with your participation as an assistant referee, or referee.
Watching ?
Are you that parent that is watching on the sideline and wanting to help as an Assistant Referee? Our players will benefit with greater participation.
If you are enthusiastically participating at our games, we recommend that you to volunteer as an AYSO Referee. .
New Volunteers must complete the following:
- Volunteer Registration Form
- AYSO Safe Haven Certification
- Regional Referee Certification
Coach and Referee
Even if you are a coach, and want to continue to expand your knowledge of the game. You are also welcome to take Referee training and get certified. In addition, you'll be able to work with the scheduling such that you can coach your game and also be a referee before or after your game.

Youth volunteers are welcome to get referee certification. A benefit for our youth that become volunteer referees is that community service hours can be earned since AYSO is a non-profit based organization. The starting age for our youth referees is 12 years of age.
