Wait List

Volunteer to get players off the wait list...

Yes. We have wait list because each team has a max number of player. Everyone Plays! This means that every player gets to play at least half of a game or maybe three quarters of a game before any player plays a full game.

We will create new teams if a wait list is long enough for 2 teams in a division. AND 2 teams will be created if we get at least 2 volunteer coaches.,

Registration Listing

2022 Fall / 2023 Spring Primary

Our Core (Saturday) program is for players born between 2004 and 2019. Players are assigned to a team with a volunteer coach and will remain on that team for Fall 2022 as well as Spring 2023. Players are automatically assigned to a division based on their date of birth. Please see our age guidelines for more information.

Games are played on Saturdays against other Peterson Park teams (teams in the 10U and older divisions may play teams from another AYSO region and may also travel to another region's fields). The Playground, 05U, 06U, and 08U divisions play at Hollywood Park and the 10U and older divisions play at Peterson Park. Teams in the 8U and older divisions will typically have a practice on a weeknight as determined by the coach.

The Playground division (for players born in 2019) teaches age-appropriate motor skills and coordination as well as social-emotional skills for team play. Players do not play organized soccer matches but play various non-competitive soccer-themed games.

Play begins September 10 and continues for eight weeks, with October 29 being the final day of fall play. Play resumes in spring in mid/late April and ends mid-June. There will be no activities over Memorial Day weekend. When you register a player in the fall, they are registered to play in spring automatically.

Program fees do not include the 2022-2023 AYSO national player fee of $20 per player. All orders are subject to a $2.75 processing fee. The national player fee and order processing fee are non-refundable. Please see our refund policy.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT - if you have previously set up an account on our website, you should have received instructions regarding the change to the SportsConnect login process to a Single-Sign-On. Please review this help article to ensure you have completed all the steps.

1. Click the Register button in the top right-hand corner of the portal to create an account.
If you already have an account, click Login.

2. If you are creating a new account, make a password. Your email address will be your user ID.

3. Please see this guide for setting up your account and registering your players. Only the age-appropriate programs will show as available for your player. Registration is based on the child's birth year. If you would like your child to play in a higher division (e.g., a 7-year old playing in 10U), please contact us.

The price shown for the program does not include the $20 AYSO membership fee for each player, which will be added automatically at checkout, for a total program price of $110.

In addition, each shopping cart (a shopping cart may have multiple player registrations) will have a $2.75 transaction fee added at checkout. If you have multiple players and register them all at once, you will only be charged the transaction fee once. For a single player registration order, the total cost will be $112.75:

7. Complete the player application information. Please note the following:

Be sure to choose a uniform size that will fit your child in both the Fall and the following Spring and double-check your selection (you can reference our sizing chart). Uniforms are ordered based on the size selected on the registration form and you will be charged for any uniform size exchanges.
Only siblings that are in the same division can be placed on the same team.
We DO NOT ACCEPT REQUESTS for specific coaches, teammates, carpooling, or practice days.
